Clap & Zap has been founded by Maud Clavier (CEO) and Charles-Henri Marraud des Grottes (CTO).
In May 2015, Clap & Zap directed and produced the first French short film in virtual reality: The Other Side. This is a comedy mixing VR (generated images) and life action in stereoscopy. The film has been shown at the Cannes Film Festival, the Cannes Lions Innovation and many other events.
With this experience, the two co-founders evangelize the technology to many groups before obtaining their first contract with INRA, which will be shown at the Agriculture showroom in Paris. This is one of the first 360° institutional films using drone views.
Since then, Clap & Zap has produced numerous 360° commercial videos (GBH Group, Lagardère Group, among others) and realizes its second fiction in partnership with the Festival Paris court devant and Youtube space in 2016, co-produced with the company Clé: The Last Hero. This film has the peculiarity of having focused sound (created by Sonicville 360) and an alternative clickable end.
This 8-minute mainstream parody runs through the festivals, and Clap & Zap still has some drama projects under development, including a very ambitious VR movies including the bodyscan (the actor Jean Dreyfus for the project The Last Moment).
Clap & Zap accompanies you on the production of your immersive project at all levels: advice, writing, production, filming, image postproduction, spatialized sound and diffusion.
