Laurent Duret began his career in some of most famous production companies in France (Agat Films, Image & Cie, Idéale Audience, Cargo Films…) Since 2007 he has produced numerous documentaries for Les Films d’Ici. In 2012, he created Les Films d’Ici 2, with some partners, and produced many more documentaries, especially “14, Dairies Of the Great War” – international TV series of 8×52’ docudrama (2014).
He also created a collection of economic documentaries “Deciphering” (7×75’). He produces films for institutions and museums (Musée du Quai Branly, French Pavilion at the 2015 Milan Expo, Musée des Confluences in Lyon, Cité de la Civilisation des Vins in Bordeaux…) Finally, he develops multi-platform projects like “14, Breaking News” (Golden Fipa for transmedia projects 2014), “Nestle, An Empire on my Plate”, “Garedunord.net”, and a poetic app “I Can’t Wait”, an interactive animated short film. In 2015, he created BACHIBOUZOUK, his own production company and is a PRIMI member since then.
