Hugo Arcier an artist from a digital age.


Hugo Arcier an artist from a digital age. First dedicated to the special effects of feature films, he worked for prestigious directors such as Roman Polanski, Alain Resnais, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and François Ozon.

Since 2004, he has been developing plastic and reflective works that meticulously analyze the specificities of 3D computer graphics and virtual worlds, as part of a new art form.
His artistic work has been presented in numerous festivals (Némo, Elektra…), in group exhibitions in galleries and institutional venues (New Museum, Palais de Tokyo, New Media Art Center of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute…).

His work has been the subject of two monographic exhibitions in France: “Nostalgia for reality”, in 2013 at Le Cube, and “Digital Ghosts”, in 2016 at Lux Valence. He was made a knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in 2016. He founded the N°130 Creative Studio at the end of 2017.
