Les Alignements de Carnac sont un jeu d’enfant

The Alignments in Carnac is a set of 3 000 standing stones, whose height varies between 2 and 13 feet. They were made about 4 000 years BC, during the Neolithic period, a time long gone when the moon, then much closer to the Earth, did not set.

Our project is entitled : The Alignments I Carnac are a child’s play. We saw this field of stones as some game of fates, some gigantic game of goose and we imagined a path between them. Starting from a house and sneaking between the standing stones, it splits into other paths, and into some more, and so on. Life, the choices that we make and the things which we aspire to, draw different paths for each individual. We questioned some elderly about their lives and choices and imagined an old man’s life who would tell his story as his journey is being drawn between the stones.
